Masone Mannu

Masone Mannu estate is located in the neighborhood of Monti, few kilometers from Olbia, and it is surrounded by an extraordinary landscape of cork oaks trees, rivers, lakes and Mediterranean scrub. In the  ancient Logudorese language “Masone Mannu” means large estate and  as matter of fact it covers almost 100 hectares, about 40 of which are planted with specialized  vines . Since 2018 the estate has been developed by Giordano Emendatori, former owner of the Mara Biodynamic winery in Romagna, a large company focused on Biodynamic Sangiovese wine production.

The goal of the new owner is to convert Masone Mannu to a biodynamic company, through a philosophy of life and 360-degree production, banning chemicals both in the vineyard and in the vinification process.

Petrizza

Vermentino di Gallura D.O.C.G.

Masone Mannu through its Petrizza awakens the typical fresh and delicious notes of Vermentino di Gallura, in its straw yellow, with greeny shades. The fresh citrus aromas are immediately striking for their cleanliness, along with hints of bergamot, lime, and tropical fruits such as pineapple. Immediately after appear elegant floral wisteria, and fine almond notes. In the mouth it is fresh and tantalizing, confirming the citrus notes which leave space to a brilliant sapidity which invites you to another sip. Excellent paired with grilled or fried fish, thanks to the deep clearness on the palate. An excellent combination of freshness and sapidity
